BERG Branding

About

The Black Employee Resource Group (BERG), for Plus Company, serves as a safe space to connect and provide a voice for Black employees. With the support of senior and executive leadership, the BERG works in conjunction with other groups to create change, promote inclusivity, celebrate Black communities and support Black employees at Plus Company.

The BERG’s visual identity is bold, dynamic and vibrant, to reflect the diversity of black experiences. The use of stacking typography, and a diverse colour palette, reflect the community and support provided by the BERG. These visual elements also unify members coming from multiple agencies.

The identity design adapts to a deck template, an email template, internal communcation, and merchandise as well.

Alternate versions of the logo reduce the system’s vibrancy to communicate reverence for somber subject matter within internal communications.

Parallel lines create an animation of the letter C, then the letter W, to create the Chev Wisdom Logo. Then loops the animation. The words "Chev" and "Wisdom" disappear and appear in time with the related letters.
